I started working with Tom Wagoner and Accelerated Benefits when I was a Sales Representative for United Healthcare.His office was located in downtown Columbus on High Street and he had a core staff of 3 employees! I was first impressed by his determination but after working together I realized he cared about his clients. When he placed a group with UHC I worked very closely with him to make sure it was set-up correctly so I knew he took a hand on approach. I’ve worked with many different brokers during my employment with Carriers (MedBen, Medical Mutual and UHC) and not all of my brokers used the same approach. It was apparent he stood out above all the others!!
So when I left UHC he called right away to see if I wanted to join the broker side of the business. I knew working for him would be fast paced because his business had grown considerably! His work force had multiplied and he moved to a much larger office in Dublin!! I’ve been at Accelerated Benefits for over 6 years and have really enjoyed it!
I started with Accelerated Benefits in 1999 when it was an office of just three people. Since that time, I have watched the company grow to an office of 15 employees with representatives all over the State of Ohio. I enjoy working at AccBen; it is family-oriented and the employees are hard-working and dependable. I find the staff to be exceptional and I believe that because they have been carefully chosen when hired. I like to think of my co-workers as “the best of the best”. Each of them take pride in their work and strive for positive results when servicing clients. The entire office and field representatives work great together as a team. I consider AccBen a second home and second family and I look forward to seeing continued growth and positive results.
